The Year 8 Division 1 team faced the top 3 teams from last year in the first 3 weeks of this year's competition. They had heartbreakingly close losses to Oxford Falls and St Lukes, then came out in week 3 and beat last year's minor premiers! We are so proud of this team and how much work they put in, both on the court and at training with Coach Eli. They sit just outside the top 4, but have cemented their spot in division 1 for 2025.
Team members: Samson T, Noah P, Quade K, Ben P, Ben M, Cale D, Josh F
The majority of last year’s players have rejoined the team, fostering great chemistry. Their commitment to trainings has translated into impressive on-court results, seeing the team move up a division! With this talented group, I’m confident we’ll continue climbing the ranks as we fine-tune their shooting and offensive execution in the second half of the season.
