Activity 1.1 Match these definitions to its correct term in the glossary provided to you. Ensure you write up the definition into your student workbook (SOWB). 

1. aka same sex attracted; people who are emotionally and sexually attracted to people of the same sex. They often identify themselves as being gay or lesbian.

2. lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and questioning/queer

3. how we see ourselves and what we believe about ourselves

4. discriminating against people who are, or who are thought to be, same-sex attracted 

5. treating a person or group of people less favourably because they are different

6. using power over another person to cause harm or scare them

7. a person or people that are aware that there is a bullying situation occurring but are not directly involved in it

8. the social relationships an individual has developed

9. any action that intentionally harms or injuries another person (e.g. physical, sexual, emotional, neglectful) 

10. a kind of bullying. It is any form of behaviour that is not wanted, or is offensive, humiliating or intimidating

11. someone who recognises when something is wrong and acts to make it right

12. behaviour involving physical force intended to hurt, damage, or kill someone or something

13. discussion aimed at reaching an agreement

14. an agreement in an argument by both parties

15. to bully or hurt someone else by using digital devices and technology 

16. the way in which two or more people or things are connected, or the state of being connected
