This cultural exchange takes place every Wednesday afternoon during an elective sports period. Coffee with a Cop - Eight Goori students were involved in a barista course at TAFE that was in partnership with the NSW Police Force and Real Futures. Congratulations to each of these students, who are now qualified baristas! To showcase their new qualification and skills, they provided free coffee to our local community during a recent event "Coffee with a Cop" that was held here at BCHS. It was a fantastic morning and the coffees were delicious! The students have also been given the opportunity to continue their training with Real Futures, who will support them into pathways of employment and further study. While the Barista Program provides future opportunities for our Jarjums, it also shows the importance of connected communities.
