Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation of the United Nations where people take on the roles of delegates representing different countries.
These delegates debate, negotiate, and draft resolutions on global issues, mirroring the real-world UN.
In the past we have debated issues such as solutions to climate change, the right to freedom of speech, refugee crisis, abortion rights, whether the media should be limited/ controlled and the extent to which democracy works.
You take on a country’s perspective and argue/ debate for that countries stance on the issue.
We are delighted to invite you to join us at our 7th NBHS Model United Nations conference on Friday 15th November 2024!
Each year more than 400,000 students from primary school to university participate worldwide in Model UN conferences.
As our preparations progress, we will be updating this website regularly. Keep checking for further information in the coming months and weeks.
