Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) is the Scottish Government’s Youth Employment strategy to better prepare young people for the world of work.
The employer led “Developing the Young Workforce” Regional Groups are set up across Scotland, connecting employers with education.
The Guarantee

The Guarantee works together with local businesses to offer young people in Edinburgh, Midlothian and East Lothian the choice of a job, Modern Apprenticeship, training or further education. The website offers vacancies specific to the age range 16-24.
