We report on football matches, swimming galas, hockey games, and much more! We uphold individual athletes, interviewing them about their training and preparation, and we get in touch with Haddington sports clubs to investigate how sport impacts small communities.

Are you a fan of music, plays, literature, poetry, art, or film/TV? Then the Culture Department of the Knox Newspaper is the place for you! 

In the Culture Department, you will get the opportunity to attend and write about arts events within and outside of the school and the wider Haddington/Edinburgh community! We in Culture have the unique opportunity to write short, punchy opinion pieces as well as engaging in longer, more in-depth investigative journalism. We have journalists writing about thier favourite authors, books, films, arts festivals, musicals, dance competitions, and much, much more!
