Elche or Elx is a town located in the comarca of Baix Vinalopó, Spain. Elche has a population of 232.517 inhabitants (called il·licitans in Valencian and ilicitanos in Spanish), ranking as the third most populated city in the Valencian Community (after Valencia and Alicante) and the 20th largest Spanish city.
Part of the municipality is coastal but the main city is some 11 km from the Mediterranean Sea. A small creek called Vinalopó flows through the city splitting it in two parts.
CEIP SAN ANTONIO
Our school CEIP SAN ANTONIO is located at la Hoya, a small village depending on Elche’s city hall. It consists on two buildings: the nursery school and the primary one.In total there are 348 pupils and 31 teachers.Nowadays our students study 3 languages: Spanish, Valencian and English.
Due to the fact our students belong to the country side area, our school offers different services which are: transport, lunch service, guidance department (psychologist and SEN teachers)
Our school develops innovation educative projects such as:

Sports project.
Library and reading animation.
European projects.
