Szkoła Podstawowa nr 1 w Gdansku. The school was founded on the August '80. Last year our school turned 40. There are about 1000 studets in the school. Our school offers many different extra classes which help students to develop both the body and mind.

Our school is situated in a historical city of Gdansk. Although Gdansk was founded 1000 years ago it is a very modern and vibrant city. You can visit a lot of historical places or relax walking along wide sandy beaches. You can also enjoy traditional Polish cusine while admiring charming streets and breathtaking views of Old Town.

In May( 16th – 20th May) we were hosting our Erasmus+ partners - in our school (SP 1) in Gdansk.
During the visit our guests were sightseeing our beautiful city Gdansk and they went on a trip to Łeba to admire Slowinski National Park nature reserve with stunning dunes.

Moreover they took part in workshops Reduce,Reuse,Recycle and Lego Building City.
The students also took part in planting a Friendship garden on the premisis of our school
The students prepared Fashion Show where were presented all old-new clothes made during "Reduce,Reuse,Recycle" workshop.
All the partners took part in Cultural Evening. Teachers prepared dumplings during a cooking course and students prepared other Polish dishes with host families at homes. All participants also brought their traditional food from each country.
