Wonderful free tool to create tailored resources and exploit texts in different ways
This is a great discovery. The website allows you, or your students, to generate an article through your writing (https://www.fodey.com/generators/newspaper/snippet.asp)
Very good platform to create a variety of tasks that embrace all skills. For my second year of ESL students, I have prepared a series of activities on fashion. A short warm up, a reading task with comprehension questions (creted with twee), but also a speaking task and a short writing activity. If you want to have a look here is the link https://amazy.uk/lessons/136291
Downside: sharing the activity with students is now a paying feature, it is 15$ a month.
Text to Speech for modelling and listening (now only 1000 words are allowed)
This is very useful to create ad hoc listening activities, or to model pronunciation. Very easy to use: copy and paste your text and convert it into audio.
Google app: Notebook LM
By uploading multiple academic sources (e.g., PDFs, research papers, and YouTube lectures), you can create interactive study guides, generate quizzes, and engage in AI-driven discussions about the material. This makes learning more dynamic and engaging.
Miro: a board where we can collaborate
Miro allows you to create nodes, branches, mind maps, and clusters of information so you can communicate the most accurate visual representation of your idea, plan, or strategy.
