Timing

• 4:00 - Set-Up (Early arrival for set-up volunteer shift)

• 4:30 - Arrival

• 5:30 - EDM Marlin Warm-Up

• 5:40 - Timer Meeting (For all timer volunteers) 

• 5:55 - Bubble Heat  DAC will NOT host a Bubble Heat

• 6:00 - Meet Starts Promptly

Location Details

LOCATION

• Our 1st Meet is Away at Dacula Dolphins

• 2723 N. Bogan Road NE, Buford, GA 30519

PARKING

Please park in the main Bogan Park Aquatic Center Parking Lot. The pool entrance is to the left of the main entrance.

BULLPEN & SEATING

• Swimmers and spectators will be located on the outdoor patio (grassy area).
  ➤ Please bring chairs, blankets/towels, and bug spray.
  ➤ Canopies are recommended, as shade is limited.

STAGING & SPECTATOR GUIDELINES

• Each team will be assigned bleachers on deck for swimmer staging. Please ensure no spectators sit in areas marked “Swimmers Only.”

• Spectator access is limited. Entry to the pool deck is allowed up to two events prior to their swimmer’s event.
  ➤ No chairs on deck.
  ➤ Spectators must return to the outdoor seating area after their swimmer’s race.

RESTRICTED AREA

Our indoor play pool is separated by glass doors. While the doors will remain closed, NO SWIMMERS OR SPECTATORS ARE PERMITTED in this area.

RESTROOMS & FACILITIES

Locker rooms are available with showers and full amenities. Please follow posted signage for designated walk paths to minimize deck congestion.

CONCESSIONS

We are happy to announce that concessions will be set up inside the building.

• Chicken Finger Combo – $7
  Includes: 3 Zaxby’s chicken fingers, chips, and a drink

• King of Pops will be selling frozen treats from their pushcart.

Volunteer Roles

• Please check in upon arrival and collect your badge at the volunteer desk. 

• If unable to fulfill your shift, please arrange a replacement, whether it be a family member or another Marlin parent. 

• In case of shift coverage issues, promptly email volunteer@edmswim.com or text Julie at (678) 412-5295.

• Failure to show up without notice will result in a fine of $100. Ensure your assigned shift is covered or find a replacement.

Meet Theme

20/20 Vision

• Break out your silliest glasses to help us see the season ahead with clear vision and big spirit. Let’s make it a meet to remember – through rose-colored (or rhinestone-covered) lenses!

• Swimmers please wear your competition suits in addition to fun glasses.

Inclement Weather

• In case of bad weather, we will ask everyone to go to their cars to wait for further instruction. 

• Please make sure you have the SwimTopia app downloaded & logged into on your phone (with notifications allowed!)
