LOCATION
Our 1st Meet is AWAY at Maple Ridge!
1438 Dunsford Circle, Suwanee, GA 30024
PARKING
Maple Ridge does not have available onsite parking; team members must park on the neighborhood streets.
Parking is allowed on one side of the street only. This will be marked with signs.
Emergency vehicles need to be able to pass and access fire hydrants so please do not park on both sides of the street, in cul-de-sacs or block a hydrant.
Marlins from the 2023 season might remember the Maple Ridge pool... there is a STEEP hill leading towards it!
SEATING
Marlins parents/spectators will be on the non-pavilion side (lane 5 side) of the pool. Please keep the ends open.
Chairs are NOT allowed to be set up on the other side of the pool. This side will be for walking on and off and viewing races.
Maple Ridge will set up their family areas throughout the parking lot. It's a great place to spread out, and we are welcome to join.
BULLPEN
Marlins bullpen is in the grass area around the baby pool; shallow end of the pool. (Adjacent to your spectator area.)
Swimmers will walk down the empty side of the deck to merge and stage behind the blocks.
GATES
Maple Ridge has (2) gates: the front gate and one near the pavilion.
Spectators please use the pavilion gate so we do not bottleneck the front gate where Maple Ridge swimmers will enter and stage.
CONCESSIONS
The concessions table is set up inside the pavilion (easily accessed from the visitor side of the deck AND the back gate.)
Maple Ridge concessions will include: (Subject to change)
Burgers
Hot dogs with toppings
Nachos
Mac and cheese
Pasta salad
Chips, candy & drinks
There will be an ice cream/shaved ice truck in the parking lot!
Options range from $2.50-$5.
MEET REQUIREMENT
We require at least (1) representative from each family (age 15 & up) to cover a volunteer shift for every meet your child attends.
Assigned volunteer positions are subject to last minute change. We appreciate your understanding!
SHIFT COVERAGE
If a representative from your family cannot work your assigned shift, it is your responsibility to find a substitute.
Please try reaching out to your Big/Little Fish family or other members of the team!
Another option is hiring a volunteer shift babysitter! (15 years or older, please)
CHECK-IN
If you cannot arrive by 5pm, please email volunteer@edmswim.com in advance to let our Volunteer Coordinator know your estimated arrival time.
Failure to show up without notice will result in a fine of $100.
LAST MINUTE CHANGES
If your swimmer is ill – vomiting, diarrhea, fever, coughing, etc. – or there is a last minute emergency and you cannot find a substitute for your shift, please email ALL three email accounts:
