National Sea Day - 16th of november
Students create a project to raise awareness about the impact of plastic pollution and encourage more sustainable habits in daily lives.
As part of this activity, they were invited to take a short quiz about plastic reduction and discover how small actions can help protect our oceans.
A presentation was created to be sent to students’ families in order to inform them about the problems affecting the oceans and to share ways to reduce the use of plastics. The presentation uses a gamified format, ending with a final game that encourages participants to test their knowledge and reflect on how they can help protect the environment.
Students participated in a quiz about ocean pollution. This quiz helped them to learn about the causes and consequences of pollution in the oceans and reflect on how peoples's actions can impact the environment.
Climate Migrants Day - 16th of december
A presentation was created by students in order to learn what are climate migrants and the reasons why people are forced to leave their homes because of climate change. Pupils discussed how problems such as floods, droughts, rising sea levels, and extreme weather can make it difficult for people to live in certain areas.
The activity ended with a quiz, which helpes them to review what we had learned in a fun and interactive way.
Pupils watched a presentation about climate migrants, focusing mainly on Romania. The presentation explained how climate change is forcing people in Romania to leave their homes.

Charles Darwin Day - 12th of february
This activity was developed with pre-school and primary school students with the aim of introducing them to the life and work of Charles Darwin in a simple and engaging way.
The session began with a short presentation about Charles Darwin, explaining who he was and highlighting his contribution to science, particularly his theory of evolution. The concepts of adaptation and natural selection were introduced using clear language and practical examples appropriate to the students’ age group.
Throughout the activity, students were encouraged to participate by sharing ideas, asking questions, and reflecting on how animals and plants adapt to different environments. Visual aids and simple examples were used to support understanding and maintain engagement.
The activity aimed to promote curiosity about the natural world, develop basic scientific knowledge, and encourage observation and critical thinking skills.
To celebrate Darwin Day, 3 years old students organized the “Tree of Life” exhibition, a visual and educational journey through the world of evolution. Through illustrations and models, visitors can explore how all living things are connected and how they have adapted over time.
The exhibition shown similarities and differences between species, and explained key concepts such as variability, natural selection, and heredity. It is an opportunity to learn in a fun way about the diversity of life on Earth and the importance of scientific observation, inspiring curiosity in both children and adults.
Pupils created a presentation about Charles Darwin, his life and discoveries.
This activity helped them to understand concepts like evolution and natural selection.
