Our timetable is based on 7 lines (core classes). Students have each class 3 times a week. Here is an example of a typical timetable.
Telopea Park is a Category A School, which means that we generally do not have the capacity to accept enrolments from out of area. More information about this can be found on the Education Directorate's website.
Students in Year 7 and 8 move through all of our elective choices across the 2 years. This allows them to be exposed to the wide range of electives that we have on offer in Years 9 and 10.
Each course will run for 10 weeks (1 term) to allow students to have a wider range of class options in Year 7 and 8.
Year 7 and 8 students may elect to join our school band. This will mean that they will not participate in any Arts classes over the 2 years as Band is part of the Arts rotation.
Year 9 and 10 students choose their courses in the previous semester. Information is emailed to parents are students when the selection process options.
Our Year Coordinator will visit Forest Primary School, Red Hill Primary School and Telopea Primary School towards the end of the school year. There will be an orientation day for students who will be coming to Telopea Park School in 2022 at the end of term 4. Information about these days will be sent to all parents/carers of accepted students.
