Physical distancing between children and young people is not always possible, particularly in single classrooms and school environments. However, it is important for limiting the transmission of COVID 19.

Students are encouraged to physically distance from each other and from staff where possible.

To limit unnecessary interactions, Lyneham High will continue to encourage the separation of the years 7/8 and years 9/10 cohorts on the playground (see Playground page).

Whole school assemblies will not be conducted in term 2. This will be reviewed moving into term 3. Single level year assemblies can take place from week 3 term 2. Junior and senior assemblies may take place in the second half of term 2.

Students should not share drinks or items of food.
