The counsellors at St. Peter the Apostle are experienced teachers and each has or is currently pursuing a Masters in Counselling Psychology. We are here to support students in career, academic, and personal development.
Students can request to see a counsellor by filling in a Request to see the Counsellor form located just inside the entrance to the Student Services area and dropping it in the mailbox. Teachers and parents can contact us to ask us to meet with students as well.
Counsellors are each assigned a grade they will track throughout high school. Class visits and information sessions will be hosted by the counsellor assigned to that grade. For 2023-2024 those assignments are:
Grade 11, 12, K&E, ELL students - Andrea Garbe
Grades 9, 10, and attendance concerns - Ian Magega
Please contact the grade coordinator for questions about your child. Students are welcome to meet the counsellor they are most comfortable with for individual questions or concerns.
