Find Loom on your SSO portal, sso.ecrchs.net
2. Click sign in with Google and give access to your account
3. If asked, click “I Agree” on the privacy policy.
4. If asked how you will be using Loom, be sure to select “As a student” if you are a student or “As a teacher” if you are a teacher. This will ensure you have access to all premium features for free. Then, click continue.
5. When presented with the option to install a recorder, install either the Desktop App or the Chrome Extension. The Desktop App is recommended, but both will work. If you would like to do this step later, simply hit continue.
6. If you receive an email asking you to verify your email address, be sure to verify it. You should see a popup message that says, “As a verified teacher or student we’ve applied a 100% discount to your Loom Pro subscription”
The steps below were written using the Loom Desktop App. The Loom Chrome Extension is very similar, with some minor differences.
7. Download the desktop app and sign in with your account.

9. After the setup introduction, you will see the recording settings. Your camera is in the bottom left of the screen, but you can drag it anywhere or even turn it off!
10. If you don’t want your video visible, simply select Screen Only
11. Click Start Recording to begin recording your video.
12. View your recorded videos here
13. Click the stop button or Ctrl+Shift+L on your keyboard to end the recording
14. When you end your recording, you will be taken to the online video viewer and editor.

16. Use the link at the top right to share your video. You can add a password for extra security. Under this, there are options to edit your video
17. You’re on your way to making Loom videos!!!
