As part of your Shark Tank project, you need to create a website or slide show to market your project.  Start by going to sites.new/or Google Slides

It has to have at least 4 separate pages...

Home Page

This is where people will start their journey.  It is also called a "landing page."

The home page should include:

• Product name

• Good photo (min. 1.  could be more )

• A video "commercial" for the project (optional: see below)

• The retail price you think you would sell it for

• A short, descriptive blurb about your product including features and benefits to the consumer

"You don't sell the steak.  You sell the sizzle."

The Ask

This page/slide should include:

• How much you want for how much of a stake you are offering in the company

• This take the form of : we are looking for x amount of money for a y percent stake in the company)

Development/How it works

Your development/how it works page/slide should include:

• A description of how your product works

• Research data (statistics and/or charts) that show what is already out there and in the marketplace and how your product would be something new and different

• How well do similar products sell (annual retail sales in the U.S.)?

Sustainability

Your sustainability page/slide should include:

• How did you try to use reusable, recycleable, recycled, or reused materials to make your product?

• How did you try to minimize the use of petroleum products?  Interestingly, the PLA (polylactic acid) plastic we use on our 3D printer is not a petroleum product.  It is made from lactic acid (found in milk) and is biodegradable.

• What did you do to prevent the amount of waste created in manufacturing your product?

• What happens at the end of this product's life cycle?

Future Versions

This page/slide should include:

• Ideas (written or as an annotated diagram or photo) of what version 2.0 of the product with look like or the upgrades it will have 

• Things you know you would like to change about the product

Financial Information

This page should include:

• How much does your product cost to make?

• How much is the sales price?

• What is your profit margin?

• What are your sales numbers to date (number of yes votes on marketing survey x $1000 per vote)

• Is there a similar product or type of project out there or is your item totally new?  What are the sales of similar products on the market today?

• ALSO you need to insert your "Shark Tank Cost Calculator" into the page in the section below this one.  Go to the "Insert" menu on the right side of this page (in editing mode), scroll down to "Sheets" and click it.  Then search for that document and click "Insert"

E-commerce Page (fake, and optional)

This page should include:

• You can make a page that is an order form for your product if you said that you are selling it online.
