Assessment
For clarity around grades:
There are five grades that are possible in the Australian Curriculum:
Grade. What percentage we will record on SEQTA for the grade
Well Above Standard. A. 95-100%
Above Standard. B. 80-94%
At Standard C. 50–79%
Below Standard. D. 40-49%
Well Below Standard E. 0-39%
Please note there are no + or - grades for Years 7-10.
All major assessments need quality feedback written into SEQTA in the marksbook - Aim for at least 2 pieces per term. This will set the stage for continual reporting as well as give students and parents feedback on how students are progressing.
