Install the Telegram app from your device's app store (see below).
Sign up for a Telegram account using your phone number.
Join the school staff group by searching for the group name or receiving an invitation link from an administrator.
Announcements are shared on:
Primary EC Staff (Primary Group Chat)
Secondary Group Chat
Edinburgh College Staff (Whole School Group Chat)
Familiarise yourself with the app's interface, including the chat list, settings, and navigation menu.
Use the search function to find specific messages or contacts within the app.
Send text messages, photos, videos, and files by tapping on the "New Message" button and selecting the desired recipient.
Participate in group conversations by typing your messages in the group chat and tapping the send button.
Customise your notification settings to ensure you receive relevant alerts without being overwhelmed.
Explore additional features such as voice and video calls, stickers, and emojis to enhance your communication experience.
Stay updated with important announcements and information shared by administrators in the staff group.

Install instructions for iPhone:
Open the App Store on your iPhone.
Tap on the "Search" tab at the bottom of the screen.
Type "Telegram" in the search bar.
Locate the official Telegram app developed by Telegram Messenger LLP and tap on it.
Tap the "Get" or "Install" button next to the app.
If prompted, authenticate with your Apple ID password, Touch ID, or Face ID.
Wait for the app to download and install on your iPhone.
Once installed, locate the Telegram app on your home screen and tap to open it.
Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your account and start using Telegram.
Install instructions for Android:
Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
Tap on the search bar at the top of the screen.
Type "Telegram" and press the Enter key on your keyboard.
Look for the official Telegram app developed by Telegram Messenger LLP and tap on it.
Tap the "Install" button.
If prompted, review the app permissions and tap "Accept" to continue.
Wait for the app to download and install on your device.
Once installed, locate the Telegram app in your app drawer or on your home screen and tap to open it.
Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your account and start using Telegram.
