Meet the Librarian

Mrs. Lee

Mrs. Lee fell in love with reading as a second grader when her teacher read the first book in The Mandie series aloud to her class. She could not wait to find out how the book ended and begged her mom to bring her to the library. She soon devoured the series and has not stopped reading since.

One of Mrs. Lee's main goals as the librarian of MMAM is to develop lifelong readers. She utilizes book talks, book trailers, and book tastings to expose students to a variety of books and capture their interest. Through the use of Accelerated Reader incentives, Mrs. Lee encourages continuous quality reading to foster student growth.

This is Mrs. Lee's sixth year as librarian at MMAM. Previously, she taught ELA 8th grade gifted for 6 years and was a librarian at another middle school for 3 years. Mrs. Lee is a National Board Certified Teacher for Library Media and is a Google Certified Educator.
