Viewing Student Library Account
By accessing and logging into our Destiny Library Catalog, you can view your current checkouts (library books, textbooks, and Chromebook), fines, and past checkout history.
1. Go to Destiny Library Catalog. Select "McKinley Middle School" from Middle School list.
2. Click "Log In" (upper right hand corner). Use student's school username and password (EX: ab123456; edcba06). Do NOT include "@ebrschools.org".
3. Once logged in, select "My Info" tab.
4.Check "Items Out" for Library Materials and Textbooks which need to be returned and "Fines" for lost book fines which can be paid with cash or money order.
Searching Library Catalog
Search the library catalog by your ZPD (reading level range) and by desired AR points to find the perfect book for AR.
1. Go to Destiny Library Catalog. Select "McKinley Middle School" from Middle School list.
2. Under "Catalog Tab", change "Reading Program" from "Unlimited" to "Accelerated Reader".
3. You can then search by AR Level (ZPD) and/or Point Value (# of AR points).
By accessing and logging into Renaissance Learning Home Connect, you can view your progress towards your Accelerated Reader goal and any quizzes you have taken this school year. Renaissance Learning does not allow students to take quizzes at home, only view data and progress.
1. Go to Renaissance Learning Home Connect.
2. Use student's school username and password (EX: ab123456; edcba06).
3. Once logged in, you can view student's progress under "My Goals" tab. Grades are computed using progress towards "Points" goal and "% Correct" goal.
4. You can view student's individual AR quizzes under "My Completed Work".
