Team HUMBER (year 6)

Good afternoon, 

Team Humber have had a wonderful final week in school and have been busy learning all about our local charities, Communi-tea and Selby Hands of Hope. 

They have had a fantastic first half term and have earned a well deserved rest. There will be no homework set over half term. 

Next week:

Monday will be a DT day where the children will be designing and making Egyptian pyramids.

English: We will be writing an information leaflet about Fair Trade. 

Maths: We will exploring adding and subtracting fractions with different denominators. 

Curriculum: We will be starting our new topic on how the world is connected through trade links. We will be looking at where food is imported from. 

PSHE: We will be looking at dreams and goals, where children will be looking at setting goals and how people overcome barriers, including disabilities.
