Team HUMBER (year 6)

Good afternoon, 

Team Humber continue to show the best version of themselves - all children have fantastic determination and a desire to do their best. This week they have been busy writing diary entries in the role of a refugee and they have captured the tone and experience beautifully. 

When we return after the Easter break, there will be 4 school weeks until SATs. They are week commencing 11th May. 

Monday - Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation

Tuesday- Reading 

Wednesday - Arithmetic and Maths reasoning 1

Thursday - Maths Reasoning 2 

Over the Easter break, the children deserve a well earned break. If you would like to support them with anything, the following areas would be a good choice: 

• Reading - fluency and inferences about characters 

• Maths - converting measure, multiplying and dividing by a 2 digit number, multistep problems (these could be done in a pratcical way e.g. baking). 

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter break and get lots of family time  together.
