Team calder & Loxley (year 5)

Good afternoon, 

Teams Calder and Loxley have worked incredibly hard this term and deserve a well earned break. We hope you all have a wonderful break.

After the Easter break:

English: We will be starting our Welcome Guidebook for a refugee arriving at our school.

Maths: We will be continuing our learning on fractions.

Curriculum: We will be identifying how humans have impacted on the Earth through conflict.

Science: The children will be investigating whether the brightness of a lamp is affected by the size of the battery used to power it.

PSHE:  We will be thinking about how rumour-spreading and name-calling can be bullying behaviours
