Good afternoon,
Team Humber have really enjoyed writing about the short animation Alma this week and they have written some fabulous, descriptive writing.
Next week:
English: we will be looking and the progressive and perfect tense
Maths: we will be learning about adding and subtracting mixed number fractions with different denominators
Curriculum: the children will be learning about what happens when someone is forced to leave their home?
Science: the children will be recognising symbols when representing a simple circuit in a diagram
PSHE: we will be looking at reasons why people may display bullying behaviour and how to deal with this.
P.E is on Tuesday and Friday. Children need to come dressed in PE kit for the whole day. Children need to wear a pair of plain black or navy blue jogging bottoms or shorts, a plain white t-shirt and a plain black or navy blue hoodie. Children need to wear suitable shoes for PE (trainers or plimsolls).
Homework will be set this week.
Reading: The children will be expected to read a minimum of 3 times a week, ideally to a grown-up. This needs to be recorded in their reading records.
Spelling: The children will be expected to play a minimum of 5 games of the set spelling rule on EdShed.
Maths: The children will have a task set on My Maths.
Children are expected to access TTRockstars a minimum of 3 times a week.
Thank you for your continued support,
Mrs Danbury
