Good afternoon,
Teams Calder and Loxley have had a super first week back
After the Easter break:
English: We will be continuing our Welcome Guidebook for a refugee arriving at our school.
Maths: We will be learning about the relationship between fractions, decimals and percentages.
Curriculum: We will be thinking about how refugees and asylum seekers are treated when they arrive in their new home.
Science: The children will be investigating how voltage affects brightness.
PSHE: We will be thinking about the different types of bullying.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.
Thank you for your continued support,
Mrs Lazenby and Miss Austwick
Homework will be set this week.
If children cannot access the internet at home, sheets can be requested for homework.

Spelling: The children will be expected to play a minimum of 5 games of the set spelling rule on EdShed.
Maths: The children will have a task set on My Maths.
Children are expected to access TTRockstars a minimum of 3 times a week.
