Good afternoon,
It has been a busy and fun first week back in LKS2! In English, we began new narratives about a video prompt called La Luna. We made sure we used varied sentence openers to keep our writing entertaining and interesting. We started our new History unit ‘Were the Anglo Saxons better farmers or warriors?’. We enjoyed finding out where in history the Anglo Saxons sit and how they ended up in Britain. We also used 4 figure grid references to identify where their 7 kingdoms were. In Science we completed an investigation into objects that reflect - it was fun to work as Scientists using the data loggers! We also really enjoyed our first Rugby PE session with York Knights, we can’t wait for the rest of this unit!
