Good afternoon,
Team Humber have really enjoyed finding out about different reasons why someone may choose to migrate. They are asking some very poignant questions and are keen to know more.
Next week:
English: we will be completing our independent diaries based on a refugees journey.
Maths: we will be learning about area of triangles and parallelograms
Curriculum: the children will be learning about what happens when someone is forced to leave their home?
Science: the children will be recognising symbols when representing a simple circuit in a diagram
PSHE: we will be looking at reasons why people may display bullying behaviour and how to deal with this.
P.E is on Tuesday and Friday. Children need to come dressed in PE kit for the whole day. Children need to wear a pair of plain black or navy blue jogging bottoms or shorts, a plain white t-shirt and a plain black or navy blue hoodie. Children need to wear suitable shoes for PE (trainers or plimsolls).
Homework will be set this week.
Reading: The children will be expected to read a minimum of 3 times a week, ideally to a grown-up. This needs to be recorded in their reading records.
Spelling: The children will be expected to play a minimum of 5 games of the set spelling rule on EdShed.
Maths: The children will have a task set on My Maths.
Children are expected to access TTRockstars a minimum of 3 times a week.
Thank you for your continued support,
Mrs Danbury
