Good afternoon,
Teams Calder and Loxley have really enjoyed finding out about different reasons why someone may choose to migrate. They are asking some very poignant questions and are keen to know more.
Next week:
English: We will be completing our independent diaries based on a refugees journey.
Maths: We will be continuing our work on fractions.
Curriculum: We will be looking at where people who are seeking refuge are from.
Science: The children will be recognising symbols when representing a simple circuit in a diagram.
PSHE: Loxley: We will be learning about accusations and the impact they can have.
Calder: We will be learning about showing respect for other people's possessions.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.
Thank you for your continued support,
Mrs Lazenby and Miss Austwick
Homework will be set this week.
If children cannot access the internet at home, sheets can be requested for homework.
Reading: The children will be expected to read a minimum of 3 times a week, ideally to a grown-up. This needs to be recorded in their reading records.
Spelling: The children will be expected to play a minimum of 5 games of the set spelling rule on EdShed.
Maths: The children will have a task set on My Maths.
Children are expected to access TTRockstars a minimum of 3 times a week.
