Another great week of learning for Team Ouse! 

The children have loved learning about the real story of Humpty Dumpty linked to the Tudors and Henry VIII

In English we are continuing to look at Traditional Tales. The children have focused on the middle of the Little Red Riding Hood story and have focused on exclamation and question marks. 

Year 2 maths

Next week we are continuing our unit on multiplication linking groups of to a multiplicative expression e.g. 5 groups of 4 = 5 x 4 = 20

In Science, we are looking at animals including humans. We are learning all about skeletons from different animals.

Homework:

3 x reading- we ask your child to read three times a week at home and record this in your reading record. 

We also encourage your child to 'read for pleasure' at home. This can come in the form of story books, chapter books, information texts, magazines, ebooks. Please add any additional reading to your child's reading record as we love seeing the variety of texts your child is accessing out of school.
