Welcome to East Union Elementary School's Computer Science website.
In 2019, East Union Elementary was honored to receive an Iowa Governor's STEM Council "Computer Science is Elementary" award of $50,000. Our school is one of twelve Computer Science Network Schools in Iowa; our goal is to develop a blueprint of our model Computer Science School that can be used as a guide for other schools in our state. The purpose of this site is to provide information and resources, curated by members of East Union Elementary School's Computer Science Team, that educators can use to provide quality, Core aligned Computer Science instruction and learning at the elementary grade levels.
