Mandatory Annual Junior College Application Workshop on April 8th at 12:30PM
Juniors, EMHS will be hosting our Annual Junior College Application Workshop on Wednesday, April 8th, at 12:30. Grab your lunch, (we will provide snacks) and get ready to fill out your first college applications! UNM, NMSU, ENMU, NMTech, CNM & Highland will give a brief presentation about their colleges. You will fill out FREE applications and be admitted before your senior year (provided you meet eligibility requirements)!
This workshop is mandatory for all Juniors.
EMHS Career Fair 2026!
East Mountain High School, in partnership with Bernalillo County, will be hosting our 4th Annual Spring Career Fair on Friday, April 17th from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM at Vista Grande Community Center. Students in grades 9 - 12 will be attending the fair.
Do you have a $100 Speed Camera Ticket? Volunteer at VGCC's Easter Egg Hunt on 3/29 Instead of Paying!
You can volunteer at Vista Grande for their Easter Egg Hunt on March 29th for 4 hours to use as Community Service towards your Bernalillo County Speed Camera Ticket in lieu of paying the $100 fine! Volunteer duties may include:
directing attendees toward parking, assisting with games and activities, egg hunt support (guards and placing eggs, runners as needed, or helping at the art table. If any students are interested in volunteering, please go to the front desk at Vista Grande Community Center. They will have a volunteer sign-up list available.
Looking for an Online Drivers Ed Program for Your Teen?
The NMDOT believes personal instruction is the best benefit for students, but may, in its discretion, grant permission for a student to enroll in a correspondence course only due to lack of availability at the student's High School, distance to an in-person private school is more than 25 miles from a student's physical address, academic/extracurricular activities, student employment, or an extenuating circumstance prevent the student from taking a personal instruction driver education course.
