We’re excited to invite you to Techie Exploration Day (TED) on October 24–25, 2025! This two-day event is designed to give you a firsthand look at what life as a Techie is all about.
From exploring campus and connecting with professors to playing games with current students, you’ll see why NMT is one of the best-kept secrets in STEM education.

HSF’s FREE College Camp at UNM on 11/1 from 8AM - 1PM, register now!
HSF’s College Camp is a free, bilingual, half-day, college preparation program hosted on a college campus, designed to help students (6th – 12th grade), and their parents, prepare, plan, and pay for a college education. Students and parents of all ethnicities and backgrounds are encouraged to attend.
The program is held in four cities across the US and covers key information on preparing for and applying to college, researching financial aid and scholarship opportunities, understanding the real cost of a college education, maximizing the college experience, and successfully transitioning to a career after college.
Students are grouped by grade level, and parents can choose to receive information in either English or Spanish.
Light breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided. There will be DRAWINGS for great prizes!
College Camp is FREE and open to the public, but space is limited. All participants must register and arrive on time to ensure admittance.

Fort Lewis Open House on 11/8
FLC Open Houses provide a full-day experience covering academics, housing, financial aid, and student life. Open for RSVP now, for FLC 2025-26 Open Houses on Friday, October 10 and Saturday, November 8.
Students will hear directly from faculty, staff, and current students - and walk away with the information they need to make an informed college decision. Students (and supporters) connect directly with faculty, current students, and other families - plus hear from a student panel and explore resources at our Student Involvement Fair.

The New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI) Open House on 11/8, Register Now
NMMI’s Open House allows prospective students and their families to explore the campus, meet staff, and learn about admissions, scholarships, and cadet life.
There is also a STEAM Open House scheduled for Saturday, October 18, from 1-4PM which is open to Pre-K through 12th grade and includes various science-related, hands-on activities like building paper rockets, exploring virtual reality, and a science show at 2:30 PM at Willson Hall 201.
