“Help, I need a job!”
Knowing how to find, KEEP, & LEAVE, a job is an important life skill that is learned through positive & negative experiences in part time jobs, sports, clubs, school, and other day to day interactions. Additionally, youth employment teaches responsibility, organization, time management, good work habits, & financial independence. If you have a GOOD ATTITUDE & ARE WILLING TO LEARN you will find a job!
STEP 1: Find a job
Network: Tell EVERYONE you are looking!
Pound The Pavement: Make a list, dress-up, drop in, & be prepared to interview on the spot.
Cold Calling: Make a list and start calling. Be sure to politely introduce yourself, then ask if they are hiring.
