Grades
(60%) TIMECARDS
"TIMECARD TUESDAY" (OVERTIME) - "Timecard Tuesday" is the Tuesday that is 10 days after the work week "ending" date. Students who submit time cards by this date will receive "overtime" hours. For example, if the "period begin" date is Sunday 9/3 & the "period end" date is Saturday 9/9 then your time card for that time period is due by "Tuesday" 9/19 to receive "overtime" hours. "Overtime" hours means if you work 13 hours, but are only required to work 5 hours for your 2 block work study, then you will receive credit for 13 hours and receive a grade of 144% for that week.Â
"FORGET ABOUT IT FRIDAY" (REGULAR TIME) - "Forget About It Friday" is the Friday that is 13 days after the work week "ending" date. Students who do not submit time cards by "Timecard Tuesday", have three additional days until "Forget About It Friday" to submit their time card late and receive "regular" hours. For example, if the "period begin" date is Sunday 9/3 & the "period end" date is Saturday 9/9 and you turn your time card for that time period between Wednesday 9/20 - Friday 9/22 you will receive "regular" hours. "Regular" hours means you will only receive credit for the hours you are required to work even if you work more. So, if you work 13 hours, but are only required to work 5 hours for your 2 block work study, then you only receive credit for 5 hours and you will receive a grade of 100% for that week. Time cards will not be accepted after "Forget About It Friday" even if students have worked!
"MISSING WORK STUDY MONDAY" (SUSPENDED) - Work Study, and the ability to leave school to work, is a privilege. Students who receive two consecutive time card 0's, or three total time card 0'S in a marking period, will have their work study privilege revoked for the remainder of the marking period. During this time students will be required to remain in the ELHS Career Center during their work study time on Monday through Wednesday. During this time students will receive classroom assignments and a time card grade of a “75%”. Students who do not stay will receive a time card grade of "0%" and will receive a discipline referral for skipping.

"WORKSHOP WEDNESDAY" - Every Wednesday students will be required to attend a 20 minute workshop. If you are scheduled to work during this time it is YOUR responsibility to schedule another time THAT WEEK to meet.Â
