09/09/21: The White River National Forest lifted the closure for the #SylvanFire and has not been active or grown since early August and was last calculated at 3,792 acres and 90 percent contained.
Visitors to the area should be aware that there will be an increased risk of falling trees and rocks, debris flow, and flooding after the wildfire.
