We are engaged in authentic learning experiences that foster critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration, which are measured through diverse methods.
This is our mission… Welcome HOME!
At MVS we are…
Leading by example.
Encouraging collaboration through teamwork.
Achieving excellence.
Doing our very best.
Establishing a positive community.
Recognizing our own unique talents.
Showing responsibility and respect through our choices and actions.
This year we will focus on learning how to acquire new material, while mastering objectives through the exploration of Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. We will discover and take ownership of our individual learning styles. We believe that every one of our students are capable of greatness. With hard work and dedication we can develop our individual learning styles, excel in school and in our future. Therefore we have high expectations for our middle school learning communities and learners.
Expectations:
We expect the world of you only because we know you have the ability to excel. To be successful at anything it takes hard work, determination, practice, and the belief that we can do it. When people work together their total efforts equal more than individual success.
Together Everyone Achieves More
You are responsible for your learning. Following directions, asking questions when you have them, coming to class prepared, seeking help when you need it, and giving your best effort will undoubtedly lead to your success in our classes. Follow our school and class rules and remember that you are not the only one here to learn. When using school property think about the other students that need to use it to learn. Our school and classroom is a safe learning community where everyone deserves to learn. Our middle school behavior expectations are:
Be Responsible!
Be Respectful!
Be Kind!
Be Safe!
Be Ready to Learn!
