Our first week was a wonderful one especially that we started getting to know our classmates and teachers better. We had a blast collaborating as teams and working on adding things around our classes which reflect our voice and interests.

We are delighted to share with you our “IB Achiever Of The Week” Certificates. Each week, one student from every Homeroom class (Pre K - Grade 5) will be recognised for excelling in one of the ten IB Learner Profile Attributes. These certificates celebrate each child’s individual ‘wow’ moments.

We tuned in to our new unit on leaders. We have started discussing their burning questions as part of our inquiry. Students will be posting their questions on our Wonder Walls and will be researching and digging deeper to find answers.
Next week, we will tune into our unit, and we will be looking at characteristics of different leaders.

This week in Math, we participated in a Number Hunt where we went around the school to solve different riddles. It was really fun to read the clues and learn more about the school by visiting different areas to hunt our numbers!
Next week, we will start looking at multi-digit whole numbers.
This week, we completed writing baseline which will help us know what our areas of focus are. We also started looking at the writing process which will guide our writing as we go about the year.
Next week, we will be looking at different fables and we will be extracting their characteristics.
