Our Teachers

Morganne Davies (LEAD and Fine Arts Coordinator) comes to Del Valle ISD with over 15 years’ experience in arts education in both the public education and non-profit sectors. As a theatre director, Ms. Davies revitalized and built programs in several middle and high schools in Fairfax County, VA and Round Rock ISD, Texas. Prior to becoming a full-time educator, she served as the Director of Community Relations and a teaching artist for Arlington-based nonprofit Educational Theatre Company. In addition to her work in education, Morganne Davies is a professional actor and has worked at several theatres in NY and across the United States. Ms. Davies is a passionate arts educational leader who seeks to improve education and transform our communities by bringing together parents, artists, students and teachers and partner organizations. She holds an MFA in Acting from the University of Tennessee a BA in Theatre from Fordham University a graduate certificates in Educational Theatre from George Mason University and a graduate certificate in Educational Leadership from the Texas Educational Service Center: Region 13.
