Fine Arts
Vision
DVISD Fine Arts provides a safe space for students to discover themselves as artists.
Mission
The Del Valle ISD Fine Arts Department is actively dedicated to providing an environment in which students strive to reach their maximum potential by developing a lifelong appreciation of the Fine Arts.
Programs of Study
In elementary school, all students take classes in visual art and music in grades K-5.
At the secondary level, students have the option to take classes in visual art, band, choir, theatre and dance. Nearly 70% of all Del Valle ISD Secondary Students participate in the Fine Arts annually.
In addition, the LEAD after school program offers students classes in various fine and performing arts including ballet folklorico, guitar, violin, dance, theatre, visual art and more.
