Q: How do I view the Project Aeschylus projects?

A: To play in the Project Aeschylus AR spaces, simply download Membit, make an account, and head downtown. You'll see our channel appear in the membit landing page - click on that, and then click "view" - congrats! You're now in the project Aeschylus home page. To play the tobacco card scavenger hunt game, click on the membit titled "Start Here", and navigate to its location. Then follow the instructions on screen to place and view the start card, and you're off!

Q: Why can't I hear the audio?

A: Make sure your phone is not silenced, and your volume is up. If it still isn't playing, restart the app with your phone off of silence.

Q: I loaded the start card, and listened to Clara's story, but I don't know where to go next. Help?

A: Great! Each piece of Clara's story has a hint for where to go next. For example, in the start card, she mentions going to First Presbyterian Church. From there, look at the list of locations in the Project Aeschylus channel home page until you find the card labeled "First Presbyterian". Then use that to navigate to First Pres. Note: The locations will not always be real places, but they are always places that existed in the late 1880s (FPC included!)

Q: Any other tips or advice?

A: Yes! Membit uses a fair amount of data and battery. Best practice is to make sure you have full or close to full battery when starting to use membit, and if you have limited data, connect to public wifi when you're able and keep an eye on your data usage as you play. And of course, stay aware of your surroundings, and stay safe!
