Upload the picture at our submission link (link will be available here starting October 1st) between October 1st and October 15th.
Use the link at the end of the submission form to donate what you can. Any amount is okay, including nothing! If you're unsure how much to give, we recommend $20 per submission.
Viewing the Monster Parade:
Download the Membit App and make a free account
Go to Durham's Central Park during daylight hours, from October 20th and October 31st
Open up the "Project Aeschylus" channel in the Membit app
Click on "monster parade", and align the images. Then click "here".
The monsters will load in. Feel free to walk around and check them all out!

What is the Monster Parade?
The Monster Parade was an augmented reality experience, that helped raise almost $100 for the Durham Arts Council!
How did it work?
Anyone drew a monsters, and submit it to us using a link that was available from October 1st through 15th.
We then took the monster drawings and placed them in Augmented Reality in Durham's Central Park. You could then go view your monster - and all the other monsters in the parade - from October 20th through October 31st, using the Membit App!
How did it raise money for Charity?
When you submit your monster to the parade, you'll have an option to pay what you can. 90% of all proceeds from submissions went to help raise funds for the Durham Arts Council in Durham, NC! The other 10% helps us cover the costs of administration for this event.

Can I donate to the Arts Council without submitting a monster?
Yes! The link to donate through this event is now closed, but you can still reach out to the Arts Council (www.durhamarts.org) to donate to them directly.
How much should I donate?
The Monster Parade is Pay-What-You-Can, so feel free to donate any amount, including nothing! If you want to give but you're unsure how much, we suggest $20 per submission.
When can I submit my Monster?
Monster Submissions are open from October 1st to October 15th.
How do I submit my Monster to the Parade?
Simply take a picture of your drawing and submit it using the link that will be provided here (Submissions are open from October 1st through October 15th). We'll do the rest to get your monster parade-ready!
How do I see my Monster?
The Monster Parade takes place in Augmented Reality in the Membit App. Simply download the app, and make a free account.
Then, from October 20th through October 31st, go to Durham's Central Park, and open the app. Select Project Aeschylus, click "view", and then click on "Monster Parade".
Line up the image on your phone with the image in real life, and click "here". All the monsters will load in. Then you can walk around and view all the monsters, including yours!
Any Other Tips or Advice About Membit?
Yes! Membit uses a fair amount of data and battery. Best practice is to make sure you have full or close to full battery when starting to use membit, and if you have limited data, connect to public wifi when you're able and keep an eye on your data usage as you play. And of course, stay aware of your surroundings, and stay safe!
