NCDPI IABS team has been working to develop a professional learning series focused on ECATS MTSS. We are excited to share the details of our second session for Districts and Charters planning to utilize the ECATS MTSS Module for the school year 2021-2022. Below you will find information detailing this next professional learning opportunity.

Intended Audience: MTSS School Leaders and School-based Teams

PD Session Topic: Deep Dive into the ECATS MTSS Early Warning System

Session Description: This session will provide an in-depth analysis of the Early Warning System feature of ECATS. Discussions will focus on an early warning system and how it helps guide teams in data-based decision-making. You will also explore the ECATS MTSS indicators and thresholds hierarchy. They will demonstrate how to navigate the early warning indicators at the school, grade, class, and group levels.

ECATS MTSS Professional Development Sessions on Core Planning Begins October 9th

Session Description: Effective Core support is essential in an MTSS. District and School teams must continue to revisit core support by problem-solving data and adjusting core support. In this session, we review the essentials of core planning and support by demonstrating the benefits, features, and steps to use core planning in ECATS.
