Learning At Home

What is Learning At Home?

For free WiFi connection information, please refer to the bottom of this page.

The Learning At Home website provides an academic learning resource to families for a period of time. This type of learning is where students and teachers communicate with learning online or set up prior learning expectations, and the students continue their learning from home. This learning occurs in the home, instead of students and teachers being in a classroom inside a school. Staff will share assignments to provide continued learning at home while the school is closed. This website is organized by Technology Support, Grade Level Support and Social Emotional Support. Each can be accessed using links provided below. Classlink is a single sign-on application that gives students access to district resources with just one password. Duncanville ISD utilizes Classlink to quickly provide students with links to Google Classroom, digital textbooks and other district resources. For Student Password Assistance please submit a Student Help Request or call 972-708-2300.

We are all experiencing a new way to teach and learn during this extended school closure for the health and safety of students, staff and our community. We aim to support and serve students and families, and ask for your partnership and patience as we all grow into this new normal.

Off-line Options

For students without continuous internet and device access, there are "offline" options for Learning-at-Home. Parents may print STAAR practice tests, print other items or utilize strategies from this website. Once students have completed the work at home, parents would then sign and verify the student has completed each learning activity. Students will need to keep a written Learning-at-Home sign-in sheet to show parent verification of the learning log upon returning to school.
