Sometimes there are 3D artifacts that you find, but are unable to download them for use with the Merge Cube. The Smithsonian 3D is such a site. There is still benefit in virtually manipulating these items. Look at the example below, and use the buttons to more fully explore this artifact.
This carving of a cat dates to AD 1400-1500 and was found at the archaeological site of Key Marco. This site was inhabited by the Calusa, who lived on Florida's southwest coast. This statuette was digitized using 3D laser scanning and imaging by a team of specialists from the University of South Florida Library's Digital Heritage and Humanities Collections.

Ötzi The Iceman was a figure found in the ice who lived around 3,300 BCE. His possessions were well-preserved, and from his items we are now able to determine how he might’ve crafted his arrows.
How he made them:
For the feathers he possibly used nettle fibers, and for the shaft he had a small front piece and a main shaft that interconnected. Sinew and tree sap was used to help bind the stone to the rest of the arrow base.
