After 31 years of teaching band and choir, mostly at Dublin Scioto High School, I decided to return to my first love of teaching middle school band. This year I split my time among three schools (Grizzell, Sells, and Davis) as a traveling band teacher, helping mostly with beginning band.
I am a graduate of Ohio Northern University (BM) and The Ohio State University (MA), and I continue to play trumpet in various community bands and churches. I also direct the Dublin Wind Symphony, where many Dublin alumni continue to play their instruments.
My wife, Kris, is a retired music teacher, and we make our home in Westerville with our dogs, Hadley and Andi.
