6th Grade Team

My name is Heather Halli and this is my 25th year teaching in Dublin City Schools.  I spent 19 years teaching elementary (3rd, 4th, & 5th), 3 years as an instructional coach, and I am very excited to begin my third year teaching in the middle school.  I am married and have two daughters- Morgan is a freshman at Kent State and Reese is a sophomore at Coffman.  I spend my free time watching them play lacrosse!

26 years ago, I started teaching elementary school (1st, 4th, 5th), then moved to 6th grade Langauge Arts, spent 5 years as an instructional coach, and now I am back in my happy place teaching 6th grade Language Arts. I am married and have 3 kids: OJ is a sophomore at The University of Delaware, Bailey is a senior at Coffman, and Laney is a 7th grader here at Grizzell. When I'm not watching a lacrosse game, you can usually find me on a walk with friends or reading a book!

Hello!  This is my 10th year teaching at GMS and my 6th year teaching 6th grade language arts.  I grew up in Hilliard, graduated from Ohio University, and I earned my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  I am married and we have one little boy, Austin!   

When I am not teaching, I am spending time with family and friends, hiking, doing DIY projects, traveling, or reading a good book.  

I’m looking forward to getting to know the 6th grade families, and I’m excited for an awesome school year!

I am celebrating my 22nd year teaching in Dublin, and 27th year overall. My family and I have lived in Dublin for 17 years. I have a daughter named Emily who is a 3rd grade teacher in Delaware. My son, Ryan, is a Junior at Wittenberg.  He is a golfer for Witt and is a Finance major. My husband, Dave, is also a Dublin teacher at Indian Run Elementary.  So, we love Dublin!  I play golf, take long walks for exercise, and enjoy motorcycle rides!

This will be my 5th year at GMS and my 22nd in the district.  I have a BA from the University of Connecticut and earned my MA from Miami University in Oxford.  

My wife Jaclyn also teaches at GMS, and both of our children have gone through Grizzell. We have lived in Dublin now for almost 12 years.

 Our son Colton is a freshman at Washington & Lee  University where he will study Biology as well as play football. Our daughter Anya is a junior and is involved with DJHS football, basketball, and competition cheer.

Hi Celts!  

My name is Mr. Leary, and this will be my 22nd year teaching at Grizzell.  I'm originally from a small town in Northeast Ohio called Louisville.  I always tell people it's near the Pro Football Hall of Fame, which helps describe the location.  I attended Kent State University, and I moved to Dublin after college.  I have one son, Jaxon, who is 18 years old and is finishing his senior year at a trade school for carpentry.  Also, I have a dog who has a really cool name: Jett Claude Kadiddlehopper Maximillion Lightening Lee Leary. To make it easy, he also goes by "Jett!"  I really look forward to getting to know you this school year, and I promise you will have a great year in Math!

This is my 14th year teaching and my 5th year here at Grizzell teaching 6th grade Science.  I taught for 9 years in the Mentor School District (near Cleveland) where I taught 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade math. I graduated from Bowling Green State University and earned my Master's in Gifted Education. 

My husband Drew is a Mechanical Engineer, and in April 2023 we had our son Chase.  We love watching him grow and learn each and everyday! 

When I am not teaching or spending time with my son, you can usually find me watching a new Netflix show, reading a good book or spending time with my family and friends! I am looking forward to this school year with our amazing 6th graders and can't wait for all the fun this year will bring!

Molly Sestili- Science

I am very excited to meet you this year!  This is my 31st year teaching in Dublin City Schools. I taught math for 18 yrs, then science and math split for 3 yrs and then just science for the past 10 yrs. I am one of the 5 original teachers at Grizzell since it opened 29 yrs. ago!

Running has always been a love of mine. I ran track and cross country at Ohio University.  I was a state champion in track in the mile & 800 m run and runner-up in cross country in high school.  I have coached girls basketball, track & CC.

I grew up on a 1,000 acre farm in Huron Co. I grew up in 4-H and my kids are heavily involved in 4-H in Delaware Co. We raise 60 meat rabbits & meat goats and show on the state and national level.

My daughter is a Jr. at Otterbein playing softball. My son is a senior at Jerome & plays LAX and football. My husband is the PE teacher at Eversole & coaches football at Jerome.

I love sharing my personal experiences in my science classroom and I look forward to meeting your son or daughter this year!

A little bit about me...my name is Mrs. Bukey and this is my 24th year with Dublin and my 18th year here at Grizzell. I have 3 kids of my own. My daughter is a junior at Jerome, my middle son is a sophomore at Jerome and my youngest son is a 6th grader at Eversole Run. I love going on long walks with my dog, Talon, reading, and watching my kids play sports.

Hi there! To tell you a little about myself, I am entering my 16th year of teaching, with this being my ninth year at Grizzell. I have two sweet boys, Luke (6) and Parker (3), and my husband is a HS math teacher. I have taught 6th & 7th grade intervention during my career as a teacher. Edinboro University of Pennsylvania is where I went to college for my dual certification and I have my master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction: Reading & Literacy from Ashland University. 

I love photography, music and singing, cooking, and doing almost anything creative. I especially love traveling and can't wait to plan my next adventure with my family. Just like a typical teacher, I love flair pens, organization/office supplies, Starbucks, and making my classroom as cozy as possible. Looking forward to a great year!!
