My name is Sharon Dechert, and I have been teaching 7th grade science at Grizzell since the building opened its doors. I enjoy teaching this age group because 7th graders are excited about learning, are always up for a challenge, and are willing to help others. I look forward to a great year.

This is my second year teaching and my first year at Grizzell. I am a proud Dublin City Schools alum/Coffman grad. I also coach the 7th grade girls basketball team here at GMS. This is my 32nd year in Dublin and I have been at Grizzell teaching social studies since it opened. I love history and enjoy the challenge of getting middle school kids interesting in the ancient past. When not teaching, I coach GMS Volleyball and Basketball, spend time with my family, play or watch sports, and foster dogs. The kids use Schoology for all their social studies needs, parents can check Infinite Campus.

Hello! My name is Mrs. White and this is the start of my 12th year as a teacher and my second year at GMS. I will be teaching reading intervention and 7th grade ELA with Nikki Galuska. I have two kids, Camden (9) and Ryan (7). We love to travel, go to sporting events, and be with family. I am excited to work with the 7th-grade team and am ready for an awesome year!
