Mrs. Moshiri
Library Media Specialist
Hello, I am Mrs. Moshiri I am excited for another year at Grizzell as the Library Media Specialist. I have been a teacher at Grizzell since 2009. I have worked as a Librarian (K-8), Gifted Intervention Specialist (3-6), and ELA teacher (7 and 8). I have coached cross country, track, and tennis.
I will be coaching the 8th-grade Power of the Pen this year...I can't believe that this will be my 16th year! I thoroughly enjoy helping students with their writing and watching them grow as readers. Additionally, for the last four years, I have had the pleasure of coaching Battle of the Books. Our journey with BOB has grown so much! Grizzell has won Districts for two years in a row. We have had some amazing talent at GMS, and I certainly look forward to working with our new 6th-graders this year. Finally, this is my 3rd year as a Hope Squad Advisor for GMS. I believe this program has become an incredible asset to our students' health and well-being.
I look forward to working with you this school year!
Please stop by any time to chat about books :) I truly love reading, and I especially enjoy hearing about your reading adventures.
Check out the new paint and look for new furniture! Thank you to our amazing PTO and Mr. Wilkinson for their financial help, as well as supporting our GMS Library Council with their grant proposals this year. They had so many great ideas!
