SWEAP FO VI extended its full support to the DSWD FO VI Red Warriors Team participation in the 2024 Region VI National Government Executives (RANGE) Sportsfest. The team was assembled from the SWEAP UNIGAMES yearly sports event composed of a selection of individuals/players in various sports tournament in Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Bowling, Billiards, Chess and Mobile Legends. The event is part of government efforts in enhancing physical and mental wellness as well as improve interpersonal relationship among government agencies and employees in the region.

SWEAP FO 6 WOMEN VOLLEYBALL TEAM IS VISAYAS CLUSTER CHAMPION

SWEAP FO-6 Volleyball Team took the Championship crown In the recently concluded first ever Visayas Cluster Sportsfest held last May 28, 2024 and will represent Visayas Cluster regions in the SWEAP National Inter-Regional Sportsfest. SWEAP FO6 beat FO7 2 sets to 0 and FO8 2-0 in the elimination round before bagging the Championship trophy by defeating FO8 in a lopsided 3-1 win.

DSWD FO VI hosted the event which coincided with the SWEAP National Council Conference held on May 27-30, 2024 in Boracay, Aklan. The said activities were graced by DSWD FO6 RD Atty Carmelo Nochete, ARDA Joselito Estember and ARDA Tonyson Luther Lee of DSWD FO7.

This activity is aimed at enhancing employees mental wellness and physical fitness in the workplace and develop inter-personal relationships among employees in the different regions.

DSWD SWEAP Bowling Team joins the Inter-Government Duckpin Bowling Tournament 2023 at St. Elizabeth Billiard and Bowling Alleys (SEBBA). Mr. Marcelino Guillermo aka "Dodong" was awarded the Highest Pinning with 93 pts pinfalls. Giving the Awards are Mr. Jocil Mayor President AIPGE and officers of the Association of Iloilo Provincial Government Employees

Public Sector Education and Planning Workshop for CY 2023-2025 Held

Public Sector Education with Atty. Divine Grace B. Gabunas, Mediator-Arbiter of DOLE Region VI attended by FO VI Chapter core group of volunteer leaders and members. SWEAP members discussed about the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA), protection and rights of JO/COS workers, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), salary increase, rights and welfare of employees, among others. The 2023-2025 SWEAP FO VI Workplan of Action was also formulated by the group.
